We are very happy to announce the latest mig33 game called MigWars.

First there was kicking – a one against all freedom of expression to “kick” a user, an enemy, maybe even a friend out of a chat room. Then came Russian Roulette, a risky game of chance of kill or be killed – Bang! Now mig33 introduces MigWars, a social game that requires toughness, luck and good friends.

The goal of MigWars is to become the most feared and respected Mafia Boss. To do this you must work your way up through the ranks by completing missions, fighting, defending and growing your gang. Always wanted to be the Big Boss. Now is your chance. Feeling threatened by a rival gang member, then order a hit on that person – it will cost you, but you won’t be threatened as you try and complete missions.

MigWars is a social game in nature, therefore to progress and grow your gang you will need to get help from friends and new mig users.

Almost two months ago mig33 launched a dozen games such as Werewolf, Russian Roulette, Vampire, Rock Paper Scissors and Star Trivia. These games are different from Facebook games, however, mig33 games are not turn-based games but real-time, multiplayer, interactive games.

With turn-based games, one can play alone and do not need friends on the network joining the game, take Farmville for example. But mig33’s games require your contacts to play along at the same time, which is more interesting and exciting than turn base games. Most of these games on mig33 are pay-and-play, requiring migCredits to play  (game winner will take take all the participants credit as a winning prize after paying a low charge to mig33) and some of them are totally free to play such as Trivia.

mig33 recently announced how popular games in mig33 have become since mig33 launched them 2 months ago. So far, mig33 have had over a million people from around the world playing games, and they have collectively played almost 10 million games. mig33 team knew that games would be popular, but this is really beyond all expectations. Thanks to everyone for making this the best place to come and play mobile games with friends.

Game play

Goal: Play a game of trivia questions and answers – by yourself, or with others

Charges: The original Trivia game is free, but some versions like Star Trivia may cost a few cents to start the game.

The Game

A player starts game. Anyone can answer the N questions, and is added to the scoreboard. Scores are displayed after every question.

Adding and Removal

/bot trivia: Add simple Trivia to your room

Game Commands

!start: Start a game of n questions. There maybe a fee to start some versions of the game.

!<answer>: Answer the question.

• 45 seconds to answer Trivia, 20 for Star and Sports Trivia. Your question will tell you how much time you have.

• For open-ended questions, you get immediate feedback, and can try a different answer. EXAMPLE: !this is my answer

• For multiple-choice questions, you get one chance to answer, and then wait until time is up, to see who got it correct first. EXAMPLE (only one character): !A or !b

Correct or Incorrect.

A pile of card is in front of you, with a hand that shakes you draw a card and everyone else does the same. You look into their eyes and they look into yours and everyone reveals their card…

Are you the lowest card or the highest ? mig33 presents Low Card where having a low card gets you eliminated !

This is what Low Card is all about

Low Card

Game play

Goal : Players draws a card in each round and if it’s the lowest card you’re eliminated. Round continues until there is only one

Charges : Pay to enter the pot

Players : Minimum 2 (no maximum) needed for game. If not enough players, no one is charged at the end of the join time.

Play:
=> During each round , players draws a card within 20 seconds or the bot does it for them
=> Players with the lowest card is eliminated
=> If two players are tied for lowest card, they draw again. While this happens the rest of the players wait until it is resolved
=> Game continues until there is only one
=> Aces are high, cards suits does not matter. 8 of spades = 8 of hearts , Ace of Spades is higher than King of Spades, etc.

Winner(s)
=> Winner takes (100 – X)% of the pot

Adding and removal

/bot lowcard : Adding to room
/bot stop : Removal

Commands

!start : Start a game of Low Card. Optional custom amount to enter the pot. This needs to be higher than the default in the game. X% of the total pot goes to mig
Example: !start 6
This will charge the user USD 0.06 (6 cents USD) to enter the sweepstake.

!j : Join a current game. 60 seconds for all players to join

!d : 20 seconds to draw a card. Auto-draw by bot if you don’t.
