Q: What does the Telegraphic Transfer form look like?
A
: The Telegraphic Transfer (TT) form asks for a number of details including mig33’s company and bank account details. You will also fill in your mig33 registered mobile phone number and your country, which is used to credit your mig33 username. You can view mig33’s bank details here.

If your TT form looks different, please either ask the bank staff to help you, or scan a blank form and email it to us at merchant@mig33.com. We will show you how.

Q: Are there fees?
A
: Fees are charged by your bank. Fee amounts may vary from bank to bank. Please ask your bank for the fee details. To avoid fees, we recommend using Local Banking Deposit instead, if available in your country.

Q: I have Internet Banking. Do I need to go to a bank to do a Telegraphic Transfer?
A
: If you have your own bank account, you may be able to do an online Telegraphic Transfer (TT) payment. Just give them all the same details that we provide you, including your mobile phone and country.

Q: Do I need my own bank account to do a Telegraphic Transfer?
A
: You do not need to have a bank account to do a telegraphic transfer. Most banks will accept cash.

Q: Can do I tell mig33 I have sent a Telegraphic Transfer?
A
: After making your payment, you need to send us your telegraphic transfer receipt details for processing. There are two ways you can do this:

Via Website

  1. Enter your details on the website here. You will be asked for your Full Name, the Amount and the Receipt Number (as shown on your Telegraphic Transfer receipt.)
  2. Select ‘Submit’. You will be presented with a page confirming we have received your banking receipt details.

Via Mobile Internet/WAP

  1. Log into mig33 from your phone, either through the mig33 application or at http://m.mig33.com on your WAP browser.
  2. Go to My Account, Recharge, then Telegraphic Transfer. Select the ‘TT Notification’ link.
  3. You will be asked for your Full Name, the amount and the Receipt Number (as shown on your Telegraphic Transfer receipt).
  4. Select ‘Submit’. Some phones will show ‘Submit’ as a Button on the WAP page. With other phones, you may have to select ‘Submit’ under ‘Service Options’. You will receive a WAP page saying that your TT notification has been submitted.

Q: How does Telegraphic Transfer work?
A
: Telegraphic Transfers (TT) are also known as Overseas Funds Transfers. Using the TT form, banks are able to send money to each other, allowing you to send payment to our bank from almost any bank in the world.

Q: What happens if I make a payment with Telegraphic Transfer and my account is not credited?
A
: Don’t worry! Sometimes this can happen if there was not enough information filled out on the Telegraphic Transfer Deposit form. Make sure you have told mig33 that you have made a TT payment by sending us your receipt number here. We recommend you keep your receipt as a proof of payment. We will use this to trace where the payment went. Please feel free to email us your receipt number, name and amount to merchant@mig33.com if your account is not credited after 7 days.

Q: What is the most I can send?
A
: Telegraphic Transfer are ideal for sending larger amounts (USD$5,000 or more) to mig33. The maximum limit will vary from country to country. Ask your bank.

Q: What is the Swift Code?
A
: A swift code is usually an 8 character code or 11 character code. The code is unique to the bank. It allows your country bank to send money directly to that bank.
