How do I make a call on my mobile with mig33?

Stay in touch with your loved ones through our cheap call and sms rates. Simple. Just log in to mig33 on your mobile phone, To call someone on mig33, go to menu > call/sms > call or sms

Enter ‘Origin’ and ‘Destination number’. (Origin will show your mobile number. If you hover over a buddy and select ‘Make Call’, their mobile number will appear as ‘Destination Number’).

Call rates will be shown to allow you to confirm before making your call

Then simply confirm and mig33 will call you back using our call-back technology. That’s it!

There are two types of calls that you can launch from the mig33 application.

• Callback Log into mig33 and select ‘Make Call’. Enter the number you want to call and our system will call your phone back.  When you answer your phone, you will hear a ringing tone as we connect your call with the number you wanted to call.
• Call-ThroughThis is new to mig33. If Call-Through is available in your country, our system will make your phone call a local number before connecting your call to the number you want to call. You may have to pay local call rates to your provider for this method.

What is the difference between call back and call through?

• A Call-Through is similar to prepaid calling cards and you will pay cheaper mig33 call rates. However, you may need to pay local call rates to your provider for the duration of the call as you will call a local number first to connect your call. This might be a cheaper option for you if you have free minutes with your provider.
• With CallBack, our system will call your mobile phone before connecting your call to the person you want to call and in most cases, you do not have to pay your provider to answer a call. However, you will pay slightly higher mig33 call rates for this method.

What are anonymous calls?

To prevent other users from calling you anonymously, you are able to change your privacy settings by selecting Menu > Account Settings > Privacy >  Call By Name > Don’t allow people to call me unless they have my number.

How do I buy credits to make calls

To get more credits, simply go to Menu > Me > Credits > Buy Credits. Alternatively you can contact your local merchant.

How do I make a call from the mig33 website?

You can log into your mig33 account on the website at http://www.mig33.com. Click on ‘Connect’ and select ‘Call’. Enter the phone number you wish to call and select ‘Make Call’. Our system will call your mobile phone and then connect you with the number that you want to call.

How do I make a call using SMS Callback?

You don’t have to log into the mig33 application for this. Just use your mobile phone to send an SMS with the number you want to call to:

When we receive your SMS, we will call your mobile phone back and then connect you to the number you want to call.

How do I make a call using SMS Throwback?

To make a throw back using SMS:

1. Send an SMS to “+447717989963? with < mig33 password>*< your number>*< your friend’s number>
   • Needs to be sent from your mig33 registered mobile number
     
2. mig33 will connect both numbers together using mig33’s call back technology
3. You can view your balance by sending the text ‘balance’ to +447717989963
